Our Mission

Mentor Me North Georgia serves children and youth by providing professionally supported mentoring relationships with approved volunteers. 

We are a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to serving the diverse needs of children and youth, ages 6-17, in Forsyth County.

Since 2002, Mentor Me North Georgia has connected children and youth to individuals who can provide support, advice and guidance. It’s a relationship that fosters friendship and confidence, with a bit of fun and knowledge. The volunteer and the young person doing things they enjoy — a few hours a couple times a month filled with share interests and activities like playing in the park, fishing or talking. The volunteer's schedule can be flexible to meet the needs of mentors and young people in different kinds of situations. Mentors can meet with their mentees on the weekend, evenings or after school.
